The Line looks cheap and like a motor drive up motel
Mayflower!

I’ve stayed at the Omni shoreham. I enjoyed being there and hearing about the history of the hotel. Obviously not a Marriott
I stayed at the Omni in May and had a great experience. It’s not super high end but the rooms were huge and good service.
Mandarin Oriental. Bit dated but solid choice

St Regis in DC is very nice. Old school, but awesome. The restaurant feels more modern than the guest rooms.
How’s the JW Marriott? I’ve booked that for a family weekend to do sight seeing. Any advise appreciated!
fine, centrally located, won’t win any awards but it shouldn’t be a bad experience by any means
Love the mayflower and can’t beat the central location. The rook (a kimpton) is cool too but further from touristy stuff but closer to nightlife.
