The bump over $200K. I now feel as though everything I need is well taken care of and I’m able to save a lot each month. I feel financially secure and I haven’t topped out on comp yet. Striving to not let lifestyle creep get me.
That’s wonderful
It was 200k for me. I am finally able to really start paying off student loans, more than just the minimal payment, save for a house, and not feel stressed about money.
LOL 200k didn’t come until senior manager at b4 (yes, some get it before, but less than 50% so don’t get excited there). I got high 100s as manager (like 170, 180, etc.).
For me I’d say once I hit over $130k. That’s when it felt like I was very comfortable financially (living in high cost of living cities) while saving a good chunk.

100k in base salary was a big mental jump. It really FELT significant, even if it wasn’t in reality. Beyond that, it all blends together. If someone asks me how much I make, I genuinely have to stop and think about it.

I second that. 130k is my number where I don’t worry about when a paycheck hits and whether I can afford things I want
Amazing
$130k without pets or kids gave me breathing room. With either one, I think that it will be $200k (not there yet but close).
Crazy times
