Personally, I'm not planning on a retirement. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna be dead before I can retire.
Publicis is pretty good. Wish my current company had Publicis type benefits...miss it, but got tired of my job and wanted change
We have 401k match up to like 5%. And unlimited vacation. And a ton of paid family leave. And free health insurance. Etc.
Shuffled through media agencies at each holding company, which I presume are same on crear8ive side.
Publicis by far the best. Then Omnicom, aegis, wpp
WPP healthcare was bad, got way worse this year under the guise of the same name as the previous year. Vacation is good but only because I was able to get that in negotiations.
Health insurance is awful, but PTO starts at 18 days plus floating holiday and summer days
For my money, vanguard does better with the 401k than fidelity, so IPG is better than the others in that regard.
What is benefit.
Independent Agencies > Publicis > Interpublic > Omnicom > every other company on the planet > WPP. Only thing Grey (WPP) has going for it is a decent vacay policy (but not significantly better than anyone else) and a sick rooftop. I'd take decent healthcare over a rooftop tho...
Publicis has stellar benefits. WPP blows.
R u really counting on a 401k for retirement....
Yea wpp isn't that great. It's the minimum of what most would consider to be acceptable.
The insurance options are lacking and subpar. the 401k is average, they match but only up to 3.5% I think. the vacation isn't bad, Its the standard 2 weeks plus floating holidays in summer and winter.
Shows how much I pay attention. I thought I was up to 3 weeks because I have been here for too long
If you have any kind of pre existing condition omnicom insurance is not for you. Good vacation policy though
I'm about to hit 4 weeks of vacation at O + M. wow - i have been here since stone ages!
Guess WPP is the worst. That sucks. BTW 401k isn't even a match, it's a half match.
Grey had the best PTO vacation offering by far, at least compared to the other big holding company shops I've worked at. And yeah, the roof was great too. I miss that place sometimes.
It's really hard to say because it gets worse every year. If you are comparing your current insurance to what you had in 2015 at another network, it more than likely blows I. Comparison.
*in comparison
I would say essence isn't bad. 100% match to 5% I think on a 3 year vest (may be 5), standard medical is a 2k/year deductible 2k max out of pocket $20 copay. Can cut that in half by paying more. Life insurance 1 year salary can buy up to 5x salary to max of 500k. Good vision and dental. Best benefits package I have had in the industry
