What are your career goals? Sounds like you left consulting for tech once, so you probably won't stay in consulting for very long if you boomerang. That eliminates consulting as a long term option.

And why leave your current tech firm? The Amazon job might open more doors elsewhere in tech if you want to stay in tech. However, maybe it is better to stay at your current firm until you can access a better paying role in tech than the one you've been offered by Amazon. But if you applied to consulting because you didn't like tech, that changes things.

Consulting. Amazon is a good brand name but there’s far more base salary growth potential in consulting. Amazon promo is like 15% raise to base. You were not offered enough stock to out weigh that IMO

100% agree with Manager 1. Just to add to it, stress and WLB for these are also a big factor to be considered if that’s something that’s important to you at this time. Startup vs big tech vs consulting will all have very different lifestyles.

Presently working in EY as AM. Total YOE 6.2yrs. Got selected in Deloitte at Manager level. Please suggest the Compensation (range) that I may demand:
Present Package - 19.5L (fixed)

Joining bonus - 1L
Not sure about variable payout but will have to let go off the joining bonus and hike for sure.

I’ve applied to 3 program manager roles with google and even though I feel I’m over qualified, I’m not getting any interviews or even a screening call from a recruiter. I got NTD for 2/3 already.
