Such things only depends how/what they went through when they were managed by someone else. Such leaders always learned to treat others at micro level, blame client's issue on the team, never pass appreciations to the team, etc etc.
Solution here is talk to your leads first about the issue and if no solution then talk to skip supervisor if you can change your lead to have better and comfortable workspace.
Hope this helps you going forward!
Unfortunately most of the women managers I have seen are overcompensating for being a minority in their field. They are so scared of being lagging behind that they start doing all this. Personally i feel it is not a quality of female that makes them function like this but the constant struggle put before them. But yes I have also seen some great female managers as well. Most of them had a hard time being boss between men.
Visual Storyteller
Only few female manager I have seen good or heard they are good. Otherwise it was always being bossy around.
I was sitting in my office and there was this lady she was talking to her team mates and she was even monitoring how many leaves they have taken and so and you can't get leave on so and so date.
Hell one side she was dedicated to work which is good on the other side she was pressurising her teammates and micromanaging.
I was like for god's sake I never want a female manager and even if I get please she never has to be like her.
I have been under female manager for last 3 projects. It's too toxic. Now for that reason I'm moving out and thankfully I got a male onsite manager.
Do a switch bro
Used to be under the impression that female managers will almost always micro-manage the associates. But lately, I realized these toxic managers are just anyone unaware of boundaries, and they expect us to update them first on even personal matters.
It usually is a matter of how they are treated at their home, are they fulfilled in their life or they crave respect too much.
It's actually difficult so say if female bosses are
Good or bad. The no of female boss are less so if taken at average than 50% is bad and rest 50% is good.
I had male manager who were shit crazy, narcissist and some were good. So for male bosses also it's 50% good and 50% bad.
Since we see only one or two female boss we feel all female bosses are bad.
Bosses are bad and toxic irrespective of their gender.
Irrespective of being male and female, they can be toxic or non toxic.. blessed are the people who get non toxic manager!
I once had a female
Manager and i could not grow as simple was it. No leadership quality no motivation for team.
Not blaming all
Women but majority i have faced the same
So as per my and my friends experiences female bosses are the worst
