I take every one of those prep calls I can get. They can offer you insight into what topics to focus on, what to avoid, hell... even if the interviewer just hates a color, they'll warn you not to wear that color shirt. Don't be a douche. If someone is kind enough to offer you help, be gracious and humble. There's enough shitheads in the business.
They're not prepping you. They're testing you.
Hundreds of interviews in your lifetime? Lol
I already see why you need to be prepped
They often have background on the role/person interviewing with and what they might ask .Take the call. It's usually very quick and can only help
Because they know the interviewers and could give you insights on what about your career would resonate better with them? If they even like you...
Reject them, then tell me how it goes.
I think they're always useful. They're basically taking all of the feedback they've gotten from other candidates they've sent over who didn't work out and then helping you benefit from the missteps that everyone before you made.
They don't only work for you. Don't be a dick.
Because they get paid for placing you and therefore want you to get the job.
Testing me for what?
Don't be an asshole. You think you've been on hundreds of interviews? Sounds like you could use the help. The recruiters have placed hundreds of people. Or else they don't eat.
SO ANNOYING.
