Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon
Is there a United status challenge?

Travel during business hours and charge it to the client
I agree with u wtf
Agree!
Charge it to the client code and then it does. Travel should be considered in the contract and acceptable. If not your getting shafted. Los must differ our min hours for 100 percent is 50 during busy season
It’s still supposed to be 40 hours but I guess it depends on budget. I’d ask if the budget is created for a 40 or 45 hour work week for the client. I know they’re trying to move toward 45 but pretty sure it’s still 40. If it was 45, I’m expecting a pay bump in the near future. Traveling doesn’t count toward utilization cause it is an internal code
It depends on the office but we’re only allowed to charge travel time > 1 hr, one way. The explanation I’ve heard is that 1 hr of travel is a realistic expectation for someone to commute for their job. I still think it’s bs because if I work on a client that’s an hour away, I essentially lose 2 hours of potential charge time and have to make that up somehow. Also, IME, there is no “minimum” work hours during non-busy season but the expectation (aka unspoken rule aka you’re on someone’s list if you don’t do it) is that you meet your charge goal. If that means you work 45+ hours to hit that goal in any given week, then that is the “expectation”.
For us, every project has a travel code. It uses a 50% discounted rate
Agree with @PwC2, at least within our firm traveling inside of normal business hours is charged to the client. Outside of those hours, it's charged to Excess Travel.
