Fortunately all of the work I do is fairly straightforward and I don’t really have to navigate anybody else’s personality. That being said though, I have been on some very precarious projects because dealing with somebody was actually the majority of the work.

You are very lucky to have minimal interaction with various personalities! That makes work much easier.
I've had to navigate some problems where someone wanted to endlessly revise things I'd done. While I can't claim my work is always infallible, in this case the issues were really more to do with someone else's meddlesome personality than the work. Had I only been working for one employer I wouldn't have minded so much, but I was losing patience just because it was making one straightforward job become a whole saga. Eventually they seemed to lose interest in micromanaging things, so things improved. But that's the one time I really had a problem where a personality quirk became a real waste of time. Mostly I communicate with people by email and that goes pretty smoothly.

Everyone has bumps in the road, but as long as we can learn or adjust, you can be a better person. Best wishes for continued luck!
The best I can say is very carefully. As a manager I have gotten used to working with people who have different personalities. Once you figure people out and how they work its really not hard to deal with people.

Trying to understand all of the personalities in a professional setting takes time and a whole lot of patience! Good luck!
