Only one flight from San Diego to New York. It was cancelled due to maintenance. Now I have to connect thru SFO. Landing in New York 6 hrs later than my original canceled flight. Alaska Airlines. Pts?
Regarding Marriott's MegaBonus: If I always fly to the client site on Sundays, is it worth it to stay the first 2 nights in one Marriott and then the last 2 nights in another Marriott just to (cont)
Folks - there was a lot of chat in global (US) BCG Bowl about how great the long term benefits are in BCG (e.g., health insurance for xx years after retirement, annual income to MDPs after retirement…) Apparently all this info was supposed to be in some (US)HR microsite. Do you know where does this information reside in SEA portals? Context:
Best way to blow Bonvoy points on a 1 night stay in Honolulu? Considering Ritz, Royal Hawaiian and Moana Surfrider. Any good experiences?
Should I go home? Nyc > ATL. Much more worried about spreading something accidentally than anything else at this point, parents are saying if I Clorox everything and Uber to empty airport I’ll be ok..
Recently downloaded the United airlines app and can’t see my mobile boarding pass. Am logged in under my Mileage Plus account but it only gives me the option to get my boarding pass through email. Customer service was hot helpful.
I really detest the SFO to MCO redeye.
Please critique my annual budget. Family of four in the Bay Area. HHI: 850k Income tax: 300k Daycare: 50k Housing: 45k (mortgage + property tax + insurance) Grocery / restaurants: 20k Charity: 15k Random Amazon spending: 10k Car + gas + insurance: 10k Medical: 5k House cleaner / landscaper: 5k Utilities: 3k Retirement savings: 135k (maxing out everything) Remaining for taxable savings: 250k Don’t do enough travel but that is largely due to COVID. Saving 45% of gross is probably too much?

Traveling to Chicago for work- should I stay in the Westin (Michigan Ave) or the Aloft City Center?
The dogsitter just texted to say the dog ran past her into the lobby and now they are both locked out of the apartment. I’m on a flight from LAX, 3.5 hrs to go. Just felt you all should know.
Is it just me or LGA is the worst airport ever ?
Now that covids ending I realized how much of life there is to enjoy and how badly I want to travel, but with stuff going back in person it’s just making me sad that it might be back to desk life. I kind of like just being able to work from the road whenever I choose or just randomly pick up and go across country for a week or two. I love my job and the company but travel bug is real. Any suggestions
San Francisco here
What’s your take on lonely boys? Chatting with a dude—hot, fit, great job. But made multiple references to being lonely cause he’s living alone, cause his friends have left the city cause of COVID. Super open and vulnerable with me before even going on a first date. Not hating, just don’t know what to make of the situation.
Taking an international flight out of BOS, not checking any bags, if my flights at 9pm what time should I get to the airport? Dont gave global entry
So....driving to client city not flying, 3hrs away, so expensing mileage there. If I use uber once there instead of my car can I expense that, as I normally would, as opposed to expensing the mileage
Colleague of mine got her rating yesterday- I'm positive she's going to quit and screw us over on this project because she is feeling some sort of way about the firm. Can't blame her but thanks mgt :/
Looking for input on a career decision. Me: 9 YOE, homegrown manager who is currently doing a stop in industry. I have an offer to return to consulting (M&A). My end game is pure strategy. Do I take the offer or wait for the opportunity to interview for pure strategy? My take is it’s more difficult to lateral the more senior you are in your career.
Hoping to get my PHR in the next year or so. Outside of employer reimbursement, are there other opportunities for this to get funded? I know SHRM Foundation offers scholarships for the CP, but I am looking for PHR specific help. Thank you! :)
In Australia. Boarded a domestic flight from Melbourne to Sydney on JetStar. They board their planes with two entrance points. Rows 1-16 enter through the front, rows 17-32 through the back of plane.
How many client billable hours (excluding probono etc) are you supposed to be billing per month not to be fired? I range anywhere from 130 to 200 hours depending on the month.

Can anyone in Accenture recently promoted to manager let me know what the initial compensation is? I've heard it's 72K, plus 5.7K car allowance and minimum 10% bonus. Can anyone validate this?
How does experienced hire interview process for MBB differ from on campus MBA process? I made final rounds of on campus but made silly mistakes with math. Are cases any easier out of school?

Tricked.....again! I️ keep winding up in situations where I’m oversold on a production gig. There’s always one red flag during he interview process which ultimately burns me. How do I️ avoid this?
