Working as a federal snowman is as cool as it sounds! Job security is rock solid (unless the sun’s out), and the team’s pretty chill. Benefits include a free carrot every winter and seasonal “melt insurance.” Downsides? Career growth is frozen in place, and peak season means nonstop snow patrol. Relocation? Only if you enjoy puddles. Overall, it’s a flurry of fun with a few, well, slippery patches. A job perfect for those who don’t mind staying frosty year-round!

Tried researching this for hours but only found info on applying to other agencies.

I’ve been approached my by company that one of our large clients (who im currently project managing for) is looking for a consultant of sorts, and if they hire us, I’d be the first person asked to take on this consultant role. This isn’t something my company typically offers and would greatly change the scope of my role. Has anyone ever taken on a role like this? If so, were you able to negotiate a percentage of the consulting fee? Or was it a bump in salary during the project?

Is it naive to hope that there could be a job out there that I actually LIKE doing as opposed to just forcing myself to do it for the paycheck? I work for a great company with (mostly) great people but still find myself wishing I could be doing anything else throughout the workday. After a number of different jobs in industry and consulting have left me feeling the same after a year or so, I'm starting to wonder if it'll always be this way and actually liking work is just out of reach.

Hey guys, so I have competing offers. One at Bank of America for 124, and one at Allspring for 110.

Does anybody work at Allspring? They did not provide any information regarding benefits, 401k match, or any annual bonus structure. I was told, verbally, that the Bank of America bonus is something like 15 to 20%, but nothing in writing.

Just wondering if anyone has any knowledge about compensation structure at Allspring, or any opinions on the culture there. I would be in Charlotte.

Have a look at the room size, ventilation , bed size , if required taste the food also before booking PG.
