How do you all deal with the guilt of leaving a comany/ team? I have been working at Microsoft for 1 year now, and seriously considering moving. I find the code base to be very legacy and I mostly work on obscure bugs that I spend so much time on, mostly due to navigating this large code base and not having much docs to refer to. Hence I find the job slightly unsatisfying, and that I could learn more elsewhere. However, I love the wlb, the team and company culture. The guilt stops my applying.
How is TIAA bank in terms of wlb?

I’d rather have 4 ten hour days. Having a solid three days off would be great. Also have a dedicated weekday where you can get things done. But it would be hard at first to recalculate my schedule outside of work. 9-5 does have perks, but a lot of downsides too.
I have always said I would much prefer to be on a 4-10's schedule. I don't like working 12 hour shifts but ten is definitely doable and I would love to have a three day weekend every single weekend. I really wish that my company would let me do that.
I would be very open to a four-day week. But I'd have some definite questions about the logistics of it. If I could be sure of having three contiguous days off, i.e., the Monday or Friday off, I'd go for that. I wouldn't want to just have an extra day off randomly, that would make it less attractive.
