I can relate.

It’s time for me to move on from my back office/CBS job at EY. I’ve been able to get through to recruiter and hiring manager screening round with FAANG employers and some tech companies but never beyond that. How can I differentiate myself when I’m probably also up against our client facing colleagues in consulting. I have about 12 years experience (7 at EY doing the same thing).

Moreover the platform here for impact as a senior partner across public private or social sector (you choose) is rivaled only by a few other global organizations.
Would rather be the CEO of a 5 million dollar business than an AP at McKinsey.
For what it's worth, the former sounds way more impressive than the latter. You've already done the McKinsey thing and you have it on your resume
Why isn’t AP as appealing?
