Would you take a 2k pay cut if a new role (slight promotion) at a different company offered a bonus that makes salary come out to $7k over your current pay?

Would you take that role over a different position that offered $18k over current pay but has a hybrid schedule with guaranteed 1 day in office per week, along with having to pay NY tax (I love in CT)? Thanks for advice.

Hi everyone. Is it typical for the attorney to take credit for the work a paralegal does? An example: I gave some ideas about deposition questions and some observations I made (I was asked about giving suggestions) regarding a witness and the attorney mentioned that he’s the one that had these great questions/observations. Recruitment reached out soon after my last meet-and-greet interview (about 6 to 7 people total) to tell me the team thinks I would be best suited for an Associate Director role with a fast follow of a Director promotion.

Recruitment can’t tell me what feedback is creating this gap but also won’t stop mentioning the positive praise and feedback the team had for me.
