I really think that the insurance policy given by mediassist is way more expensive for parental insurance, means who will pay for 50k+ premium and that too for large copay, I guess the leadership team should intervene here....Parental insurance is really important for any employee and most of the time is only needed.
Recently I used parental insurance and found that the insurance company only paid for 50% of the total bill.

I often go through a roller coaster ride of stress at work, and what I found helps me a lot is being conscious of my health; making sure I sleep 7 hrs (sometimes I also function with 6 hrs), adequate water, nutritious meals, Omega 3 + Vitamin C to keep me going. I also try not to read/consume too much content after work, even when I love reading in my pastime, I would listen to music instead whatever I'm in the mood for. I sometimes swap coffee with matcha when I feel burnt out as well! And for days when people piss me off at work, I vent out my anger through yoga or a good run. Meditation used to work but I'm finding it hard to release all my pent up emotions. Hope that was helpful :)
Meditation and yoga helps! Takes practice, and persistent. So if you do it for a few days and then don’t for another few days, don’t write off the progress. Just pick it back up when ready.
Also in the moment, some slow, deep breathing is good to reset the nervous system and help manage the anxiety. Lots of YouTube videos on this and can be some quick tips to help you when you are feeling like you need the support.
Lastly, I find getting some fresh air/ sun, or seeing friends/ loved ones also help lift my mood and redirect energy. Would recommend this if it’s possible during the day.
Exercise works for me. The endorphins really change my mood and outlook, especially when I don't want to go to the gym.
Do know these stressful moments are temporary. Remind yourself. Disconnecting and reframing the issue helps. Will this issue matter in 5 or 10 years? Probably not. Is it worth spending energy and emotions on this which wouldn’t matter in the long run? Probably not. Also, remember, you don’t have to win the stress, you just have to go through it and come out at the other end. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself and give some grace.
So many replies resonate with me. I appreciate this community 🤍
Working out before work has helped me tremendously. I clear my head, prepare for the day, and need some me time before it gets hectic
I would LOVE to do that but I never wake up with enough energy.. I have a hard time sleeping through the night.. I hope I can get there though
