You guys. The cheating investigation happened 2 years ago. The majority of incidents happened several years prior to that. The majority related to internal training programs, some related to the AICPA ethics exam, NONE of it related to the actual CPA exam. EY has legal liability insurance that covers the settlement and fines were imposed on employees involved. So no this isn't something thats happening currently. No its not cheating on the CPA exam. No it's not affecting your raise. Calm down.

No one thought it was the actual CPA exam lol. It’s just funny for people who are supposed to uphold ethics cheat on it.

Y’all are probably too young to remember the last time EY had to pay a big fine. A week before it was announced, they sent an email cutting cell phone reimbursements (to what they are currently). They used to be a lot higher. The week after, news broke that they had agreed to pay some huge fine for cheating or something. Can’t remember if it was PCAOB related. I can’t remember the number either.

Just sit back and enjoy the theatrics.

I don’t think all of the people cheated on the ethics exam (which there’s no excuse for) based on the article I saw, it was also CPEs, and while I still think it is bad and definitely a terrible look, I could totally see someone whose getting crushed working 24/7, cut a corner on a firm training not thinking about it

EY Chill.

Lol!

If no big deal, relax. Today it's your firm, tomorrow's another and you'll be posting memes left and right.

Insurance premiums are going up….and it ain’t just inflation

My main concern is whether or not we’ll be able to continue to present the nba draft picks or the emmy winners

I have never heard of the AICPA ethics exam. I only remember the state ethics mandatory training for every three years.

Currently a Wealth Advisor for Citi but I honestly hate it here with a passion it’s the worst company I’ve ever worked for in my life and I’ve been in Wealth Management in the banking channel for over a decade. Series 7, Series 63, Life, CFP, ChFC, and soon to have my MBA with a focus in Mergers & Acquisitions. I’m look to enter another area of Finance at this point instead of starting over somewhere else from scratch, but not sure what direction to go. Interested in Investment Banking or M&A.

I am a registered sales assistant which means I have my series 7. I also have the 63 and my Life & Health license. I was a financial advisor but the role is commission only so I decided to take a role as an assistant for some time to learn etc. I really like my role, but I only make 32k a year and after taxes I only take home about 25k. I have a gut feeling that I’m not being paid market value but it’s tough to find comparable salaries. Do you think $15.38/hr is a fair wage in this case?

Hi fishes, I want to move to management consulting. Current role is an internal data science consultant for driving OpEx.
Background: MS in Statistics from tier-1 Institute, 3 YoE across Bank of America and UBS, based in India.

Is it possible without a) going for an MBA b) Starting from the bottom at Undergrad analyst level.
Would ideally target pre-MBA Associate level (one step short of post MBA level).

Any leads/strategy to crack this would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Dallas folks!

I want to get to know the local private companies. I worked at a private company with 2-3k employees before my MBA. They had an amazing culture, but limited progression opportunities. Anyone have recommendations on companies with great cultures in the Dallas/north of Dallas areas? (I live in the Plano/Allen/Mckinney area)
