We’re definitely on our last legs as a nation. People want to ignore it but it will affect everyone at some point

That’s exactly the problem. Taco is creating so much chaos and economic flux. Biden handed down the best economy globally, post pandemic. 47 purposefully ruining it bc he is not financially literate- everyone who knows him says this. I mean he’s been bankrupt how many times. He’s also a felon 34x for fraud and corruption, and is liable for rape by a jury of his peers. And every country is laughing at us. Good times
There is no reason in this society that we shouldn’t have universal healthcare. If you really research it, we would all save $ in the end. We’re already subsidizing those who can’t afford it with our premium costs. If the insurance companies didn’t have so much power, we would all be better off and healthier.
It's all about the insurance companies as well. They make most of the decisions now instead of you and your doctor.
The Left is deliberately leading people astray regarding Medicaid.
#1 The ONLY CUTS are to illegal aliens
#2 NO ONE legitimately on Medicaid will keep their Medicaid with no cuts to services, materials or equipment.
I have seen people with obvious disability on leftist commercials talking about how worried they are about losing their Medicaid. IT WILL NOT OCCUR-YOU WILL KEEP YOUR MEDICAID. The Left is deliberately fear mongering.
#3. Those on Medicaid who are able to work, must put in 20 hours of compensated or volunteer worktime in order to keep Medicaid.

Working is great for having an income to pay rent or a mortgage and all your other bills, but Universal HealthCare Care would make sure All American Citizens have Access to Health Care or Do You Not Believe in Health Insurance full Medical Care and Dental Care as a Basic Right for All Americans, so we can be a much healthier Nation ?

If everyone in America quit going to work and paying bills and relying on others to make their way things could be different. But nobody will stick together

I like you , your funny .
You are absolutely right. This country is going in a direction that if it's not stopped in the next 2 to 4 months the lower and middle class is going to feel it like we never have, and doubt if the liars will be back with their lying.
Kind of like what happened with Argentina.
I'm sorry but what you stated there is false. The only ones that are getting kicked out of medicaid are illegals and able body people who refused to go get a job. Yes this is actually a thing. I would suggest you read up on it. Let me give a good example. This youtuber just exposed a "asylum" seeker in NYC. She had dentures but she threw them out because she wanted new ones. The new ones cost her about 4k. She got kicked out of medicaid.

Worse yet, McDonald's doesn't want to hire people with an education or history of highly skilled jobs. Because McDonald's knows the minute you get the opportunity, you'll leave for a better job. Now they've waisted time and money training you. Trust me, I'd previously applied for every crap job out of desperation. Not a single call or interview.
Plus, the jobs many of the recipients *could* get don't offer healthcare.
They previously said that 14 year olds should get a job at McDeath or pick strawberries so they an afford to eat. Think either of those offer comprehensive healthcare?
It's even worse, and it's wholly unsustainable for the middle / lower class, *that's the whole point*. They want a return to the feudal system, with themselves on top, deluding their uneducated voters into thinking that it's good for them, until it's too late.
Biden will also be remembered as the first president to raid Medicare (while claiming to protect it) to pay for his spending agenda. Biden spent like no president in history, and, with a sleight of hand, by taking hundreds of billions out of Medicare and spending it on green energy subsidies.
That’s verifiably false. I really think Trump supporters are the most ill informe, willfully ignorant peopl.
The fact is many people on Medicaid cannot work, or they work for a company that refuses to provide insurance. Years ago we could get insurance coverage relatively cheap through our jobs. Companies valued the work their employees did and insurance was part of our compensation. As CEOs and stockholders wanted to increase profits they cut these benefits along with pensions. But the companies often still make billions! It’s not fair. And insurance should be not-for-profit.
Yup today i read that marc zuckerberg bought 11 properties next to each other to create a family compound. Must be nice to drop all that cash and buy whatever you want. As people start dying I hope the rich swindlers have guilt and remorse.
It is a wild time to be alive, that’s for sure.
Totally
You are reacting to possible media influence. Yes. A bit dramatic. Trying to locate a job is work itself. Jobs are not scarce. It just takes time. Especially if you are more of a “seasoned” worker.
The system is sustainable and not that bad. Just an opinion…
I have to disagree. Jobs are not as plentiful or stable as you make it sound. Layoffs are widespread across industries and even highly qualified people can spend months searching without success. For many, healthcare is tied directly to employment, so losing a job often means losing coverage too. That is not a sustainable setup for working families. Calling it “media influence” minimizes the real struggles people are facing.
What the WH is doing is simple. It's Robin Hood in Reverse. They're stealing from the poor to give to the rich. They're also adding to the national debt as well. What they're feeding the American people is nothing but lies, misinformation and disinformation as a way to distract us from the real issues. They don't really care about the fact that the American people are suffering. They only care about enriching themselves.
Well the last time they had work requirements I was homeless and had no way to get a job. No car no place to live. Then I lost weight to where I was 90 pounds and been having hallucinations for two years. I said screw it and went to the hospital emergency room. They would not take me because of no insurance but found a hospital that would on a grant they got for me. After I went to the hospital that would take me that hospital got me exempt from work requirements and I got back my foodstamps and healthcare. So there is still a way to get help.
When demographics continuously vote against their best interests to disenfranchise those they consider "other," this is the outcome.
Don't get why we're tangling ourselves in knots trying to determine the cause.
It is that bad and the first mistake you're making is assuming that people blaming those who will lose Medicaid is that they operate in good faith. They're either comforting themselves about terrible outcomes or actively participating in pointless cruelty. BTW, around 75% of Medicaid recipients who can work do work.
They voted for this and got it, now everyone is shaking and crying in their boots. November 2024 was the time to keep all of this from happening. The country has to ride it out again just like it did during the covid administration.
@patient access specialist actually it do matter. You are advocating to steal from one person and give to another that refuse to work. Why dont we take bunch of your stuff from your house and give it to people that doesnt want to work? According to you we shouldn't ask them why dont you want to work and buy the same thing you have. We can just take it from you and give it to them. Let see if you would care.
The subject verb agreement here is driving me bonkers.
First of all, bringing 10 million into the country was the red flag. If people are complaining about the inability to find work, whose fault is that? How do we employ 10 million non-citizens if our own Americans can't get jobs? I work and Medicaid recipients have better coverage than I do. The Medicaid cuts haven't even happened yet. Finally, when this does kick in where the able-bodied people find even part-time work and they still don't want to work, people can volunteer to keep their coverage.
(rolls eyes)
One can always tell who is a sycophant, or who blindly follows without research, intellect, or critical thinking. What I know for sure, there is no use in any dialogue with these individuals. Cult member will blindly; follow, support, stand by, and even "fall on a sword," for their master and their brainwashing, because if they do otherwise, it's an admission of failure and a self-rejection....and only a strong, secure, and healthy mind can admit they were duped, aka, misinformed.
You're very right. No one is really pricing these cuts into the rest of society.
People are just arguing symbols of all of this stuff, they're not really looking at a net balance sheet for all of society.
It's just vibes. Right now "medicaid" sounds like some sort of payment system to keep "lib culture" afloat in society.
There's a real chance that all of this backfires. For the last 15 years, we've been learning the painful lesson of "what sounds cool in the chatroom, doesn't work in real-life."
We're now living through a macro-level experiment of that. Hopefully we make it through to the other side.

Well, this post blew up just a lil. Crazy how they fired the person responsible for the jobs report, now why would they do something like that? It’s mind boggling (rolls eyes)
