There is so much more power play or politics going on since COVID19...Everyone seems to be on edge... It's becoming quite toxic.. Does anyone have a book or something that could help me work it?
My soon to be husband always talks about having kids. I'm not against it but I'm so scared of the impact it will have on my performance, my career and my opportunity to grow as a professional in the firm... Honestly, it scares the shit out of me! How do you deal with beeing a mom and having a career? Is there any hope at all that it's possible to have it all? Do you cut corners on mandates? Do you feel like your limited in your career? At the same time growing old and lonely is not my objective
I have only had male mentors and I really wish I had a female role model to look up to in this field. Any advice for how to network and find a good female mentor? Im up for promotion to manager this year and I want to leave the firm after. I don’t know where to start and I lack the confidence and network needed to change careers. Any useful advice? Thank you!!

I just had a miscarriage this morning. I’m supposed to host a bunch of meetings tomorrow and I’m a wreck. Do I cancel? What reason do I give to a bunch of men and young professionals? I don’t want to seem weak or vulnerable. I have a reputation as this tough lady boss.
I wrote a rec letter for one of my legal assistants for law school right before COVID got bad and we all started working remote. Ever since then, this assistant has seemingly been slacking. There’s only so much I can actually see/review without seriously micromanaging her. I’ve spoken to her about her slacking at least twice and both times she just brushed it off. I want to withdraw my rec letter, but I feel like it’s too late. She is leaving at the end of the summer. Should I just let it be?
Hi All! Looking for some advice. I have an employee who I like a lot. This person struggled for the last 6 mos w/emotional issues to the pt where it affected their performance. Crying and breakdowns at work. This person was a good acct lead, but their performance suffered and clients complained. We had to move ppl onto the accts to fill the gaps. This person took time off. Now, there’s no accts for them and I have a bit of ptsd and am concerned about their performance. What do I do?
In discussions with a company about a potential role. The HR lead said they debated the leveling and landed on Manager. I want to negotiate it up to Senior Manager/Director. Any tips on how to do this? First call with the hiring manager in a couple days
I used to be a strong confident boss lady. My teams love me and folks line up to join my teams. But have been systematically bullied by a male Leader and have lost my mojo. How do you get it back ?
Hello ladies! I have a question about feedback. In short: if I send a deck for review to any M/SM, it's "I noticed A, B, C, pls correct"; but one particular person gets upset and lectures me instead

I’m feeling a little down today and wanted to chers myself up by listening to some coaching sessions on YouTube... They always talk about being strong. But what is a strong woman?

Does anyone know about Heidi vs. Howard and the double standard? I'm actually blown away! I was just preparing for the year-end round tables and read through the common biases that we need to watch out for... This one really hit me hard as I work with all male colleagues and partners! Can anyone relate/share their experiences?
