Must eat in San Francisco / Oakland? Looking for low to mid tier dining. Not big into fancy dining.

I may be able to do a short workcation in February or March in a warmer locale in the continental US. I live in the Midwest currently. Trip would be no more than 2-3 weeks.

Hotels and Airbnb are proving to be exceptionally costly in the places where I’m looking, like South FL, San Diego, Phoenix, or Austin. Are there other websites or tips you all suggest for doing this in a more cost-effective way?

Got an offer from a startup for a Process chemistry, RA 2 position in San Francisco. Base salary is 91k, 10% bonus with 10k sign on bonus. Currently making 75k with 10%bonus in Boston at Sanofi. I would prefer SF weather and am wondering whether or not the move is worth it financially speaking (don’t know is SF is way more expensive than Boston or not). Any advice would be appreciated !

Looking to move to San Antonio and we're looking at places in Alta Vista and El Dorado. Pros and cons? We have two kids under five, so looking for a nice family community with good schools.

A friend is trying to convince me to move to Vegas for a year and live in a 5k sqft home with them and 2 other best friends of mine. For context, I live in San Diego in a studio by myself.

I like this idea because in theory I could live a pretty luxurious lifestyle (in comparison to what I’m living now) I stand to make $12k more a year by just having an address in Nevada. Rent would be much cheaper too.

I cant figure out if it’s a mistake to leave San Diego if I want to move back a year after
