Trying to lateral transfer into Deloitte S&A as experienced consultant, and got a 30-min Business/Culture phone interview with a manager. What to expect?

I have an interview at D for the Solution Designer role. How is this different from a Consultant? are they on the same level or is SD below C?

Have 2.5 YOE and consultant at Deloitte. Huron consulting reached out to interview me for a Consulting Analyst position bc apparently analyst is (0-5 years) and associate is 5+. Does this make sense/sound right ? What’s the expected salary at an analyst level?

I’m a tech consultant working in the SAP practice. I’m a second year associate. I have decided that I don’t like the culture of consulting - work more hours, always add more work and responsibility to your plate, etc. I would like to work a job that is more 9-5 that doesn’t expect you to work in so many different things at once. What industry roles should I be applying to? Is leaving after 1.5 years too soon?

Hello I'm currently a Consultant in my second year at Accenture. Prior to that I had 10 years in industry. I had an initial conversation with TCS regarding an Industry Advisor position. Second interview scheduled for this week. I currently have a comp of 120, told them I'd be looking at 160 which was not an issue..

With that said can anybody shed some insight on what the move to TCS would be as Industry Advisor from the consultant with Accenture? Is that a level between M and SM at Accenture?

I have a video interview for an S&O position next week. I am currently an Oracle ERP consultant with 6 years of experience and in the transition to strategy. What should I expect? Should I try to fake my experience so that it does sound like I did some S&O related work in my past or should I admit that I just have done technical implementations in my past but willing to move on? How should I play it?

Currently working as a data center / cloud transformation consultant at a smaller firm. Got a lot of experience quickly right out of college and am now interviewing with larger firms (Big 4, etc.). Just got an interview lined up with PwC... really don’t want to be in a toxic environment anymore (current firm is an old boys club to the max), and I’m not afraid of hard work. Ex-consultant, now lead revenue at a small tech and considering a move either back to Consulting (ie director at Deloitte/Mck tech) or up to a large tech (ie account director at Aws/msft). Got an interview opportunity at an IB recently for an Analyst role. I’m a Senior consultant with a Masters Degree with 2 years of work experience. When I asked if they’d offer me Associate instead of Analyst, they said that no one from B4 exits to an IB at associate with just 2 years of work ex. Is this true? What is the benefit of waiting until being promoted from analyst to consultant before applying for jobs? Can you label yourself as a consultant on your resume if you have been given a promotion, but it has not gotten into effect/public?

Are consultant skills desirable in industry especially if you're a generalist? I'm having trouble marketing myself because I am a jack of all trades, master of none and the few roles that ask for consulting experience are really competitive... Is it ok to reveal to a client during an interview that you worked on a product of theirs as a consultant in the past (life sciences)? Is it seen as a breach of confidentiality? I’d think not if I were in their shoes but want to understand this group’s thoughts.

Goal is to transition into strategy or IT/digital consulting.

From what I have researched so far, my client related work in advertising sounds very similar to a consultant’s day-to-day.

Between client relations, developing brand strategies, analysing data, and implementations, I feel as if I’ve built a career that can easily transfer into consulting.

Thoughts?

Applying for jobs after 10 years. I am a hands-on technical consultant and I have been designing solutions, coding, installing software, building applications etc.
Whats the best way to structure my resume? Should I stick to a 1-2 page resume? Or should it be more like a CV where every project is detailed with tools used?

What's the best way to prepare a business case presentation? I've been invited to a final round interview for a medical device company as a process optimization consultant. They sent me a client case study. In the case there are pain points of the client, and some numbers to analyze their workflow and recommend them to use their medical devices for process improvement. I'm not sure how to stucture it. how would you approach it?
