Anyone have an organizational transformation case interview? Applying for a senior consultant role in gps and curious what to expect for OCM

Currently making 77K as a DevOps/Sys Admin with a company i’ve been with for 1 year 8 Months. Before this I was a consultant making 56K.

I have 4 years 4 months total work experience and I’m interviewing at Accenture for a Jr. Solutions Architect position...how much should I be asking for?

I just got notified of moving to the next step in the interview process and am supposed to meet with a “teammate/ other consultant”. Any idea what this entails and the general tone of the discussion? More akin to peer interview/ just generally making sure I’m not a weirdo?

What is a good salary range for an entry level consultant position at Deloitte particularly in the life sciences or risk management. Want to have a good range in mind for a phone screen interview where I’m not selling myself short. YOE is 0-3 and a Masters degree.

I'm a Consultant with 4+ years of experience and interviewing with Indeed for Sr. Product Strategy role in Bay Area. What kind of compensation should I negotiate? Can you/your friends at Indeed suggest some numbers for the base, sign-on bonus, and RSUs?

If you had to choose between applying to McKinsey or BCG, which one would you apply to, and why? (im a consultant at Deloitte in Technology Strategy and Transformation, and would love to stay in tech strategy).

Been interviewing with Google for ~4-5 months now. Waiting for HC feedback. Recruiter says if HC feedback is positive, they'll decide level and role. I'm being considered for a role under the technical solutions consultant family.

Hey everyone, I have been trying to break into the data science world as a strategy consultant. Have put in numerous hours after work and on weekends to learn programming/ DS and algorithms, ML, and statistics. I now have a pretty good resume of personal projects, but am having trouble getting any interviews. Should I go get an MS or keep on trying to find a job as a data scientist? Thank you for the advice.

When will on cycle for 2022 start be held? I definitely want to do PE but also don’t want to be a consultant for another year (I’m a second year BA). Would PE firms still interview me if on cycle doesn’t happen until fall or winter, and I leave McKinsey in summer for a different company (after completing my two years at McKinsey)? Or would I have to be a BA at the time of on cycle recruiting in order to successfully participate?

I’m a software consultant at Oracle where I specialize in one software and help clients implement/optimize it. I’m trying to transition to a strategy/management advisory role because I feel pigeonholed to this one Oracle software. I have a final round case interview coming up and am preparing but have extreme imposter syndrome because I don’t feel like I have the traditional excel data analysis and PowerPoint skills they are looking for. Has anyone been in a similar position and have any advice?

What skills do product management jobs look for? How can I best apply those skills as a consultant to make them stand out on a product management interview?

If a Senior Manager / Director from a Big 4 wants to jump to MBB or T2 (think OW, Kearney, LEK), what level could they aspire for? Consultant is too many levels down, is Engagement Manager / Project Leader etc possible and if so, recommended? Or is the advice not to jump and stick till Partnership at Big 4? (I am in the midst of an advanced round interview at a MBB and at a T2, but the levels have not been discussed very weirdly in both the cases)

Currently working at T2 in Toronto, actually consultant level (FB not updated). Working about 9-11pm M-T and 9-6pm F, limited weekend work (DDs, otherwise 10% of weekends) for me. Mixed bag of P/P, some quite toxic, others are more relaxed. Constant travel outside of US (non-covid).

I am moving geographies and so in a bit of dilemma. The hiring manager reached out for a consultant level role, a level down from my current title. She said the Sr. con role just filled up so either I could interview for consultant level position or wait for a few months when Sr. Consultant positions opens up. I have limited client facing experience since I went from backend to front end and also opportunity to move to desired geography. Not sure how to tackle this smartly. Any thoughts?
