How do interviewers make level decisions for candidates in the interview process? I’m currently a manager in my current role. What would the equivalent level be? I have 7 YOE

Applying for Product Manager positions, but not having any luck. Can anyone share resources for spicing up my resume or anything that helped them?

Hi guys, I need some advice. Trying to make a decision...
Im working with Optum for the past 3 months as a Sr Product Manager. A recent reorg has me reconsidering my role here.
I am in final rounds of interviews with Resmed, Kaiser Permanente, CVS Health and J&J for the same role. These companies are offering 20-30K more than Optum.
Any insight on any of these companies? Specifically in product management teams? Work life balance, product appeal, travel requirements, benefits etc.... Thanks!

I recently joined new company. Tech stack is java, spring boot, Hibernate and experience is around 3 years.
But I got my first project where I got manual work, also I was not discussed about this before I got interview for the account and the project.
So can I discuss this with my manager and can I get some other project.

I’m interviewing for a MD/exec level role within industry.. big jump in pay etc. I’m through the first and second round (recruiter, then hiring manager). Now there’s at least 5 more - stakeholders, other direct reports of hiring manager etc.. ending with one more interview with the lead if all goes well.
My question is what might be the sorts of questions and conversation with these other stakeholders?

I had a first round interview with a hiring manager yesterday.

Does anyone still send thank you emails to interviewers after each round? Or is it best to wait after the entire interview process is finished? Or has the practice fallen out of fashion altogether?

Anyone have insight into revenue accounting? I’m interviewing for a sr revenue accountant position and wondering if it’ll be too pigeonholed. I also have zero background in this type of accounting so it would be completely new to me, but the hiring manager didn’t seem to mind that I don’t have any experience in this area. I’m fed up with the hours and lack of support in public and want to leave before next busy season for context.

Kpmg 🐠, currently interview for a manager role in their supply chain practice. However, based on my YOE, trying to angle for director (SM) role. Is Kpmg usually open to leveling up based on experience? Thanks!

How do you get over the anxiety of potentially picking the wrong next job? I’ve always felt like I made the wrong career decisions in adulthood (e.g., not taking up computer science in undergrad, the consulting offer I picked after undergrad was in a low growth area, the second job I picked ended up having a terrible manager). As I get closer to finishing interviews and getting offers, I dread trying to figure out where to go because I’m sure I’m going to pick the wrong thing.

Applied to KPMG (with a referral) and RSM (without a referral). How long does it generally take to hear back when applying as an experienced professional for a manager role? Haven’t applied anywhere since college so my idea of timing is pretty outdated. Thanks!

How do I not feel bad that I’m interviewing at another firm? I haven’t told my manager or team anything, and I really like them and don’t want to leave them hanging, so it feels like I’m betraying their trust. I know that I’ll have to at some point. Any advice?

I just got invited to interview for a role in SFO that I also did as a Summer intern at Google Europe. And it turns out I have a fair number of first and second degree connections (bcoz of this internship) to the Hiring manager. Should I talk to them?

Interviewed for a role and after speaking with the manager for it, I’m not that interested anymore solely on the manager alone. How do I message the recruiter (the manager too?) that I’m no longer interested but don’t necessarily want to cut ties with the company in case there are better roles in the future? BTW I’m happy in my current role now, was just curious about the company.

Hi all, I had a phone screen with a recruiter on 11/23, and he said his coordinator would reach out in scheduling an interview with the practice manager. I haven’t heard from the coordinator and emailed the recruiter this morning but nothing yet. My application is in “interview” status. Should I just move on?

Old manager whom I am good with is interviewing someone in my network. That someone is reaching out to me for help. I don’t particularly like this person as he was rather cold in my own job search so I kinda want to screw him over. Am I being petty? Should I just ignore him?

Currently at EY senior 3 up for promotion to manager just interviewed with Deloitte and people seem great! Salary increase is amazing… is this a good decision hmm… you guys tell me. I have no issues with EY but my salary is not what I would like it to be and when I promote I don’t think they will come close to offer from Deloitte.

Hello everyone, Attended interview with Infosys on java fullstack. Heared from HR that technical and manager rounds are cleared and HR round will happen in few days. Can this be considered as selected or kept profile on hold? How long it can take for hr round? I have 90 days notice period. Will they wait or look for someone with short notice? @Infosys
