Interviewing at Amazon for a Product Manager role. Any tips on how to prepare? Just thinking of how to position consulting experience in terms of Product Management. My experience is heavily focused on Process Improvement, Technology Transformation and Project Management. Pls help. Thank you all.

Hey all, transitioned from the military last spring and got a UX product manager position at a bank.

Pay is good, but missing the mission aspect of work. Have interview offers from Microsoft and Amazon for cleared PM work, but most of them are less product manager work and more adjacent program work.

This might just be grass is greener thinking, but would love to hear if you have made the transition if you enjoy cleared PM work or do you wish you stayed in the non-cleared space?

Hi all, I need your help - I work in a bank as a product manager, 3 YOE and I want to move to Tech companies (I.e. Google) as a product manager.

This year I have not got any interview from FAANG (I don’t know why…) but got two offers from Consultancy.
1. Digital Product owner (80% focusing on financial industry)
2. Digital strategy consultant ( 50% focusing on high tech industry) but my worry is that this would be more strategy work

Which one should I choose that can get me into Tech?

Looking to apply for a Product Manager position at Google. Have done similar (but not the same) types of work in consulting for the last 6 yrs.

Know that I’m getting ahead of myself, any suggestions on what to teach myself/learn to best position myself before even applying?

Hi guys, I need some advice. Trying to make a decision...
Im working with Optum for the past 3 months as a Sr Product Manager. A recent reorg has me reconsidering my role here.
I am in final rounds of interviews with Resmed, Kaiser Permanente, CVS Health and J&J for the same role. These companies are offering 20-30K more than Optum.
Any insight on any of these companies? Specifically in product management teams? Work life balance, product appeal, travel requirements, benefits etc.... Thanks!
