Currently interviewing for jobs and the recruiter is asking me if I’m available to interview on a day that I’m not. Is it bad to push back and ask for an alternative?

Interviewed for dreamy job in dream city last week. Got a ton of buy signs from everyone I met with, especially CEO & CTO. HR said they would reach out early this week but I haven’t heard back yet

Recruiter ghosting? My partner interviewed for a lateral position with a mid-sized firm in mid-December. Went through whole process, multiple interviews, etc. (see below)

Job opportunity (mgr title, 4-6 yr exp needed) in Internal Audit (w/ data analytics exposure) at one of the largest private companies in Chicago. I interviewed with them (director and vp) till last round and decided to pursue a different opportunity. Great and caring people who seems to support what you wanna do at this position. Is Director level within A&M equivalent to SM1/2 at Big4? Also, I have been told by A&M recruiter that I need to meet 2 more MDs as part of the interview process and I have already met 3 Senior Directors. Any idea what can I expect in my final two interviews and will there be any more rounds?

One of the primary aims of the criminal justice reform movement is to help ex-convicts re-enter the workforce by sealing criminal records, and making it more difficult for employers to judge applicants based on criminal history. The idea is that people are redeemable and capable of reform. Yet the same movement thoroughly enjoys getting people fired and publicly shaming them for making arguments they find “offensive”. A rapist is capable of reform, but not someone who makes a dumb tweet. Got it.

I’ve heard salaries have gone up quite a bit in the midst of the pandemic and I’m wondering if this is true for EAs as well. There’s a myriad of data online about EA salaries depending on age/experience but I’m interested in salaries from jobs accepted in 2020/2021 specifically!

Hello Folks!

During work from office days, a representative from third party vendor organization used to visit the Gurgaon office during the Investment Proof Declaration days to help folks with "rent agreements, PAN number and rent slips" (ahem!! ahem!! IYKYK) and we were able to claim tax deductions.

Is it still happening there? Also, does anyone have a contact for them?
