Had a final Deloitte interview yesterday for a Workday HCM consultant in Chicago. Not sure I’ll get an offer but if I do what would be an appropriate salary for this role?

About to get promoted at PwC from Associate to Senior Associate (mgmt consulting). I interviewed at Deloitte for a Consultant position, but they’re potentially giving me an offer for BA. I’d essentially be holding out on the promo until next promo cycle. Usually, I’d understand hiring at a level below for higher levels but I feel like doing a 3rd year as a junior might not be the best decision. Should I push HR for Consultant level? I haven’t gotten the official offer letter yet, just verbal.

Am looking at exit opportunities and researching FAANG. Curious to understand why anyone would join Amazon which has the worst benefit of the FAANG? Can anyone share what’s better at Amazon that I am not aware of? Amazon and Facebook on sites lined up in January! So researching now!;)

Been in my new role (financial analyst) for about 3 weeks now and I feel like the learning curve is a lot more than expected, since we didn’t do much real analysis in audit. Is this feeling normal?

Currently interviewing at JPMorgan in their CIB division for a associate operations role. Have met with 5 people for two different teams and another person for another team, all of which I believe are 3 total open positions for 3 different teams. I had my 1st round of interview with Executive Director and 2 leads for Technical role. I have 2 queries-
1. How many rounds should i expect in total considering I clear everything? (I think my first round itself has technical + manger/director)
2. How long (time) will it take to get an offer?

I’m working in a large fund; market neutral public market strategy funds; am about to be recommended for a promotion to associate. However, an analyst position just opened up internally in Credit, which is where I aspire to be for the next ten years. More growth and more intellectual challenge. I’m conflicted about applying for a lateral transfer and losing out on a promotion. Will I be missing out a promotion or should I negotiate a promotion as part of my application to this role ?
