I asked for more money for a senior accountant role and have received a lot of push back. I have been firm with my decision and the recruiter called me today to set up an interview with the CFO. And then threw in the fun fact that there are two other applicants that are willing to take the money offered. Are recruiters always this annoying?

Was offered a senior accounting position in NYC for 100k and a 20% discretionary bonus. My EY raise in October will put me at 91k. I feel like 100k base is low given all the benefits at EY (ex: phone bill, internet bill, fitness fund) but the recruiters are saying 100k for someone with 3 years experience is unheard of. I am a Manager in Salesforce practice at D and I have 15 YOE and 5 years in Salesforce and at 145k base at D. Is it reasonable to expect a Senior Manager or Director role at pwc or accenture or other top consulting firms with a 30% hike? I took my current role at D at the start of the pandemic and got myself a bad bargain which is why I am looking to move.

Looking at exit ops... anyone know the salary range for a senior manager at an industry association? Online ranges are low confidence and it’s a new industry for me so just looking for a ballpark figure
