Which one would u choose..nd why..??
For me designation doesn't matters only money.. So I'll choose case 1. N u???

I'm was promoted recently to client manager at a consulting engineering firm. My background is 16 YOE working as a Senior Plumbing Designer. I didn't get a compensation increase when promoted; however, after 7 months of great work in my new role I would like to negotiate a compensation adjustment.  My expectations are 120 - 130k a year base salary with 20% bonus. Does this sound reasonable for the MEP consulting engineering industry or should I try to negotiate a different figure?

Pros and cons of taking counter offers? I’ve only heard bad things. Currently making $70k as a senior. Found a new job in industry paying $100k. My manager countered with a position of senior manager at $125k. They also said money was tight before but suddenly it magically appeared with no issue.

Junior here. Just graduated college and not too happy with my portfolio pieces. I know overall my portfolio needs so much work and it makes me upset that I’m in this position. I see so many fresh out of college from the same school i went to landing jr positions with amazing books. How? I feel like I didn’t really gain ad experience until my senior year of college. What salary should I ask for if I’m moving from mid to a senior AD role at a new agency in NYC?

I'm a newly promoted audit manager. I'm happy that I got promoted and I'm happy with my new salary/bonus etc. But my concern is that due to the heavy turnover in my firm, I'm stuck on the senior role on some jobs. It's a little frustrating since I know I could take on the manager role for these jobs but staffing is an issue. It's definitely bothering me a little even though I understand why. For those in this situation or have been in this situation, how have you dealt with it?

Looking to make the jump from Account Exec to Senior Account Exec. Moving from Chicago to Milwaukee. Interviewing for an agency role. Long-term goal is in-house in 2-3 years. Currently making $55k. What’s a realistic increase? Should I ask between $62-68k? I’ve been told by an Account Director that some agencies are doing sign-on bonuses, too and should even ask higher. Your thoughts? BG info: 5 years experience in advertising and PR mix with background in digital marketing. Masters degree, too.

tl;dr How do I negotiate the right raise upon receiving a promotion?

Context: I'm currently up for midyear promotion that would be effective at the end of September. If promoted, I want to make sure my raise is fair and competitive to what those are currently making at my level with similar experience and location.
