I’ve an interview with Strategy& - private equity team for senior manager role. The first round is a technical interview. Do you know what it entails?

How bad is it to take a role that is leveled down in title but more money? As in- going from Director to Senior Manager but it’s a 20% increase in base pay?

For those who moved from a client serving role to an internal role in public accounting while at a fairly high level (experienced manager or senior manager), did you take a pay cut or does your pay stay flat when you transition with minimal increases in subsequent years? Also what role are you in now? I really like EY and the company. I’d like to look at moving to an internal role but I’m worried I’ve priced myself out (currently at around 140k comp in LCOL).

Any mid-level or senior associates negotiate a higher bonus or salary than other members of their class? Several seniors in my group have left recently, making me most senior associate as a mid-level and group isn’t hiring anyone to fill the spot. I received an offer from IBM for Senior system analyst role. I didn't accept or declined it. Instead, I talked to assigned HR partner regarding another offer in hand & mailed them offer letter as well.
The Hr said she will talk to management to revise it & revert within 2 days. It's been a week but no revert.
Does Ibm provide a revised offer based on offer in hand?
If yes, how long does it take to release revised offer?
Note : My notice period is 90 days & almost 75 days are left.

Hi Fishes - waan share one exp with Accenture recruitment process - my interviewer joined the interview for merely 15 mins and today I got email that I didn’t qualify and can’t apply for next 6 months. I responded to HR that it’s not ethically right and if interviewer is not free or in mood , he/she shouldn’t even start interview. How unethical this is! Interesting part is that I was appearing for senior role Level 06/07 and this causal process surprised me.

Hello all, I got an offer from Accenture for senior analyst role. They are offering me 16LPA(13.25 Fixed) with 21% variable pay + 4L joining bonus. Is this package reasonable or should I renegotiate with them? Please suggest.

I keep seeing roles described as “Seasonal Audit (Senior) Associate” pop up on LinkedIn from some of the larger firms (both B4 and midsize). I’m curious as to what this entails - I assume it’s a busy season contractor. It sounds like a useful role in theory but im trying to think of experienced professionals who would have the time to do this outside of people re-entering the workforce after some time away.

Anyone have any insight or stories into how these roles work out?

Considering an exit from MBB (mostly doing strategy work) to a tech PM role (not FAANG, but comparable). No TC numbers yet, but directionally comp and WLB will both improve. Any thoughts on the long term career outlook for PMs? Does the ownership / P&L responsibility set you up for more senior roles in orgs or is the common exit from PMing another PM gig? PM exits seem to be highly sought after on this bowl, but I’m wondering if people end up getting stuck in those roles.

I have an offer of 5L from a product based company for data analyst role. Currently i work for TCS as a process associate (BPS) BPO 1 grade.

I have been given a counter offer from TCS with promotion to BPO 2 with 40-50% hike from my current ctc of 2.8L + shift allowance of 55k (confirmed).
