How do I learn to accept my role in the company and "slow down" career wise. I am used to quick promos and my new company is hiring someone with equal product exp to a more senior role than me, likely due to his 3 more yrs of overall experience.

I am having my first child in the next few months and I think it would be good for me to learn some patience in my career growth and just enjoy my current role. I personally think going on leave will hurt my near term growth but should I even care? TIA

In June 2021 I joined Infy as a System Engineer. I'm working under Data and Analytics unit.

I know Python , I have learnt Hive after joining Infy. Currently I'm learning Spark and Scala.

My current CTC is 3.5 LPA. I'm a average programmer.

Can any senior suggest me what is the future ahead of me ?

My current goal is , I want to shift to a 12 LPA position.

What should be the road map to achieve that in the upcoming years ?

Need some help deciding on a role. Exiting B4 after 2 years. Moving to either a senior internal audit role or an ICOFR special projects team. IA has less hours through the year but the ICOFR role has their hands in a lot of the business and would allow me to use some automation skills I’m trying to build. Offers are identical. Having a hard time deciding between about 5-10 more hours a week year round for that experience or if I should go IA for the WLB and fact that IA is at every business

Hi Fishes, So I was working for an MNC since past 2.5 years at 3.6 ctc. The learning was amazing but I had to resign due to low pay. Later I joined Paytm. After 5 months, my manager asked me to rejoin considering the fact that the learning curve and responsibility is better there. Should i go with it?

Is the cohort pay band pretty strict at PwC? Was referred to an exp. senior position and they seem pretty set on the salary range which was pretty low tbh.

I am A2 or A3 at BDO. Have cpa. Have two more years experience at the service line in general. But less than 1 year with BDO. One big 4 offered me senior position and 30% raise. So I started at my company just over 2 years ago as an entry level Sales admin with a split role and at the beginning of this year I moved fully into Sales Support and I'm kind of at a point where I coordinate and support the activity of my team, I fully process all orders and manage/maintain our CRM system, provide monthly & quarterly reports for our senior management team.
