Our client, a Manhattan pharmaceutical digital advertising agency is looking for a VP or SVP Brand Strategy.. Needs experience working on a brand with multiple indications in the oncology space (ideally) and be actively working on approx. $7 mil. of revenue.

Hello. Would anyone mind sharing a solid resource or approach to compensation alignment strategy? Currently our staff have a conversation around their comp. on their anniversary- 300 employees. Performance review conversations take place twice a year and not connected to the comp conversation. I am looking for a way to ensure the comp. conversations feel less laborious and tedious. Salary for director position in NYC IPG mediabrands?

Working Moms/Dads: Do in-house positions exist with flex time hours? I need to be able to leave work at 4pm to pick up my son from daycare, but i can get back online at home to resume any unfinished work at 8pm. Is this realistic to convey to any companies in an interview? Pandemic aside, is face time 9-7pm really important? Or should i just try to find a job with a salary that covers a nanny salary and accept that i will never see my son on weekdays (which would be sad for both of us)? TIA!

I would like to hit fire between 40-50. Currently 27, 185k total comp (125 for me and 60 for partner). Like my job don’t hate it don’t love it. Does an MBA make sense? I’m guessing it could take me to 170ish with that schools I’m looking at but wondering if the 40-50 retirement range makes an mba not make sense since I’d only have 10-20 years to save vs 12-22.

I have been offered a position at a non-US B4 with a 2 year path to partner. I know one of the partners at the local firm and have the support of the regional service line lead, and am bringing a specialized skill set they are trying to open a new business around. So happy to finally be posting with my new title! I’ve been looking to get into a Product department since early 2020. In my case resilience was key in the face of constant, daily rejections. Also I’m in my 40s so don’t lose hope! It’s never too late to pivot your career.

For any of you real estate investors, what tools or sources did you learn from when getting started. Can’t find a mentor currently so want to find some highly recommended books or videos. If focused on the tri-state area (NY, NJ, Long Island mainly) that would be even better.
