I've been out of accounting for about 2 years because I decided to move to another country for life experiences. I will be moving back mid 2022 with my fiance and will go back to Audit most likely. My firm said they would gladly take me back when I left.

If i was making 65k as a senior 2 years ago is it reasonable to ask for 72k and a 10k signing bonus even with a 2 year break? Would it be more reasonable if I went to a different firm instead? How much do you think is reasonable?

Can anyone help with salary slabs for consulting in Dubai (big 4) - senior manager and director? Base + variable.

Senior analyst w/2+yoe at niche consulting shop with $80k base and solid bonus program. Last year's TC was $100k, this year expecting around $110k, and ~$120k next year based on promotion schedule (with 3+yoe). Base feels low and while bonus program is a draw it ends up being taxed like crazy. Is it worth shopping around for other options?

Current CTC: 10 lpa

For those who moved from a client serving role to an internal role in public accounting while at a fairly high level (experienced manager or senior manager), did you take a pay cut or does your pay stay flat when you transition with minimal increases in subsequent years? Also what role are you in now? I really like EY and the company. I’d like to look at moving to an internal role but I’m worried I’ve priced myself out (currently at around 140k comp in LCOL).
