Working remote for west coast firm but I am on east coast. Apparently they will be taxing me based on my place of residence. Is that possible? I assumed I would be taxed based on work address.

I love the firm culture (big on work life balance and fully remote) but I’ve recently been dealing with some toxic partners (the office I’m in is a branch office so it’s smaller and I repeatedly work for the same partners). I’ve been a data/business analyst for almost 5 years, plus 10+ years of customer service in various positions. I have also been a store manager for a few years. Lifestyle vs purposeful job? I am currently working for a job I dislike and where I see no purpose but it gives me all freedom and flexibility to live in my favourite place and country. Now I got a job offer for a purposeful NGO with a major career advancement (role) but in a place I don’t see myself happily living. No remote possible with this one. What’s your advice?

Need advice:

I'm debating between a Deloitte USDC role as a Software Engineer for 100k + 5k bonus and a small but established private company for 110k, which is fully remote with no expectation that I have to move at some point. Health/Dental/Vision, 401k and PTO are pretty similar. I'm an experienced hire with ~5 years of relevant background and currently work on a small, independent team at a large aerospace company, so either job is going to be a bit different than what I know.

What’s a good holiday gift for a manager to give each member of a large remote team? (11 people). How much is a good amount for something the manager pays for, not the company?

Considering moving from a large regional (currently a senior) to a small company with about 20 employees. The new opportunity does not allow remote work, but is a 40 hour workweek generally.
