Our firm has a flexible work from home policy for attorneys only. I’m in a small office and I feel guilty working from home when our paralegals cannot. One of our paralegals started just before the pandemic and feels entitled to work from home to the point where she threatens to leave over it. I don’t agree with the policy being 100% limited to attorneys but I want to work from home!

What is your firm’s work from home policy? I’m technically allowed to work from home but the partner prefers that I’m in the office, but he works from home or remotely while traveling somewhat often. Some days I just feel that I’ll be more productive from home. My office is a 30-40 minute drive and sometimes I just prefer to roll out of bed and start working. I always feel guilty when I work from home though. Another partner hasn’t set foot in the office since March 2020.

Why am I doing this?
My requirements are a bit different from the usual case. I am not eligible to work in the US and I know sponsoring is hard (90% of my applications were rejected on that basis) but I can work as a contractor (W2 Tax Form for employers) because I have an LLC set up.

I can PROVE my work experience that I will do good at the job too.

How is neosoft in terms of wlb. Also do they offer wfh?

Open to any UXR roles. Preferably remote/hybrid . Recently laid off due to corporate restructure. 3-4 YOE.

What would the Director salary be for a remote employee located in a MCOL city for a mid sized firm (not big 4)?

I’m interested to know what kind of remote equipment Salesforce provides new employees. I’m interviewing for a Solution Architect role and it’s a fully remote position with their CSG. Is there a stipend for office equipment? Do they provide monitors and a docking station? I haven’t been able to find any info about this.

Has anyone used a job coach? I've been looking for a full time remote job in my field (for public policy) for a year and a half and I haven't been able to land a job :( I got my Masters recently and I was hoping that would open some doors but I'm extremely discouraged and not sure what else I should be doing!
