Anyone familiar with being a full time remote “CaseSmart Counsel” at Littler? The low hours requirement seems nice. Curious about how many hours people really work - the requirement is only 1500. Appreciate any info ✌🏻

I was just informed after the third round of interviews they’d like at least 5 references, two must be supervisors. My last job was a temporary remote job where I didn’t really interact with my supervisor and the jobs before that were at my family’s business (I do not speak to any of them for serious personal reasons.) Hi, I work as a Embedded Software Engineer 4. I have 14 years of experience. I work in Central Jersey (Not NYC).

What is a fair compensation in NJ? My base is currently 134k plus around 20k in bonus plus 7% 401k match. TC around ~160k.
Work life balance is good, WFH 2 days.

Few years ago, I moved from NYC and my base was higher. but in NJ, I had to take a pay cut bec I started family.

I see everywhere 250-350K compensations in NYC, but wondering if NJ is comparable and do I make too low?

Okay International HR experts. My org has made the decision to make 3 contractors in the UK FTE. Our company is entirely remote, what is the expectation for these folks to complete an I-9? What documents would be viable as they’re not citizens, no visas, etc since they work entirely from home. First time running into this so any insight would be amazing!

What firms (especially in California) are still embracing WFH whole heartedly and also hiring senior associates in the current market? My firm seems to suddenly be trying to copycat Kirkland by mandating 3 days in office. I love my firm despite the soul crushing aspects inherent to my practice area but I love my home office more than anything else in my professional life ever since I graduated law school. If all the firms are doing this BS now would be good to know so I can call my therapist now

Does anybody have any advice on WFH jobs I could apply to? I majored in behavioral biology and recently graduated from my masters in medical sciences. 27 and don’t know what path to choose. I have two offers: VC and PM. The PM offer is more money, longer hours, but allows me to work remotely. The VC offer is cool and could be lucrative long term if I stick with it, but would make me move to NYC.

I want to do interesting work that pays well, but also travel the world. PM will always be there, but my youth won’t!
