I saw an article about a "mouse-juggler", it helps move your mouse and prevent your computer falling asleep.. making it seem like you are productive when you WFH

Apparently, it's a tactic being used against companies who track productivity and track your usage at home... this is new to me.

Has anyone actually been fired or told that they have seen their productivity low via Remote Spying Software?

It makes sense to monitor communication such as Slack but tracking the CPU usage feels wrong :/

5th September is my last working day at Infosys. Yoe=4+ yrs

I hold an offer of 18LPA from KPMG with joining date of 7th September. (Wfh)
I applied at Workday on 15th May and went through 7 technical rounds of interview and received a verbal offer letter of 21LPA (hybrid)
Now apparently their technical panel "forgot" about the interview and wants to have a discussion again as 8th technical interview. HR says their joining date will be 19th September.

Should i join KPMG?

Does UBS provide laptop?
I am hearing from HR that laptops are not issued. If that is the case how does WFH happen and how does flexibility work?

Impetus is offering 6LPA and Enquero is offering 7.5LPA.

I have 1 year of experience and I am a little confused about which one to join.
My main aim is to learn as much as I can.

My partner and I are planning on moving out of state (cost of living, family, etc.). I can do the majority of my role 100% remote, but my boss is very traditional and wants us in the office. Before I start applying with other companies, I want to know if my boss would be open to a remote position. I’ve been with the company a few years and would be willing to take on more responsibilities to make up for those I can’t do remotely. But I don’t want to impact morale. How should I bring this up?

When in the interview process should I bring up salary expectations and remote work discussions? I don’t want to waste my or the company’s time if we aren’t aligned.

One of the x-team mate was interviewed in a startup and offered to setup their divisions with Sr. Profile (which she is excited for) but existing employer is giving tough retention (e.g Good 40% hike but lower designation, UK temporary permit or 100% WFH n Good 40% hike in India) and now she is confused... What you think should be the best choice?

A. Stay with existing employer (Fortune 500)
B. Join startup with almost 80% (40 fixed + 40 var)
