I have an MBA from the University of Chicago, not that it matters much in sales. I have always been in a consulting role but I think I can make more in sales. Leaving soon for brand management role in CPG which I’m really excited about but curious if this will close the door to opportunities (product marketing, non technical product manager) in tech in the future. Really interested in the brand management role but if I end up not liking it the comp trajectory is not nearly as good as tech and wanted to know if that door will still be open. 2YOE, if I make a switch would likely be at 4-5YOE assuming I don’t go MBA route
