Do any AmLaw 200 firms offer fee splitting for associates? As a senior associate, I originate more than my salary and I know that many others with the same title in my firm originate little/nothing. Yet we are all paid about the same base and our bonuses are underwhelming. Sounds like a rant but am just curious.

I am looking to gain certification or other credentialing in diversity and inclusion, not only because it would look good on my resume both for future job-search purposes and also to become better educated in this area, which is growing in importance. I looked at SHRM's "Inclusive Workplace Culture Specialty Credential" and got a bit of "sticker shock" at the cost - $1,655.00 for members. Does anyone have other suggestions on training/credentialing in this area?

I left consulting about 3 months ago for work life balance and the fact that I was dissatisfied with such a male dominated work environment. I joined my new job in industry since then, and my male manager and I may have some working style differences. He just asked me to work over my week off, even though I know he said he doesn’t have much that week. Even thought I joined 3 months ago, I have the right to push back right? I also feel like I need a new job with a woman manager, I’m tired lol
So looking to go from Full Time to contract. 😬 I built in some time off into my hourly rate, along with health-care and retirement. I was offered three different packages with vacation days. 5, 10, 15 and they had a rate difference of 0, -$1.22/hr, -$2.40/hr respectively. Any thoughts or guidance?

So I applied to MS on both software dev role and manager role because I have done a lot of development before and I have done management as well. I am curious how I can explain the reason and also show that one is not second fiddle so to speak to the other when asked by an interviewer who asks me that question? I would prefer manager but I do want to get my foot in the door as well and grow into that role if software dev is the route to go. Not sure if being honest about that is good?
