I’m 21. Maybe I just got lucky, but working in Apple retail was an incredible experience. I was only there for 7 months, but it was enough time to know it’s a place filled with love and laughter. Walking in other Apple Store’s I can feel the energy and I genuinely believe my store was unique. Managers cared and coworkers were connected. In a bit of a conundrum, I work for a boutique firm focused on a particular industry and just got an offer from another boutique firm focusing on the same industry but smaller (10% of our size). Jump in title and maybe a 10%+ up increment (can negotiate more). The role will be 2ic to the regional lead. I don’t necessarily want to move but should I use this offer for a promotion and or salary nego?

How long is too long to take off from GMAT? Spent~8 months on it plus working while living alone and think it’s started to take its toll (panic attacks, etc.). Need to get up ~30 points or so and thinking of getting healthy/deferring application to next year.
