I currently am Area Recruiter that would like to transition to a HR Generalist. Does anyone have any ideas to share?

Is there a market for lawyers to add expertise In crisis management or reputation management? My goal is to counsel clients on how to respond to media inquiries without saying or posting something detrimental to a potential litigation while still maintaining communication with their client base. If so, how to break into that industry? Courses? Books? Certifications?

I’m currently working with a senior level HR candidate. This individual has a doctorate in business with a focus in HR, her SPHR, Federal, and private sector experience at the singer level, and has a fabulous personality. I’m curious is anyone else having difficulties play some candidates like this? At this point I’m starting to think it’s racial or her sex based of the lack of interest in this candidate. Any thoughts?

I’ve worked in sales for 12 years (8 years retail sales and management, 4 years inside tech sales and management). I’m feeling the burn and looking for something else in the tech field. What do we think about these culture assessments? I don't understand how they get value from You have never wanted to "tell someone off" AGREE or DISAGREE or Would you rather Make Art or Go out to a social setting There has to be some kind of Jedi mind tricks right. I mean who would say I have never in my life wanted to tell someone off. Are they looking for honesty? Any HR people who can tell us what the "grades" look like? Do they need you to be in a range so they can consider hiring?

How do I get the second interview

Riddle me this Batman: Im told that I can bill X amount for X task but no more, or warned that I may not plan and prepare for certain things even though I do (lost time) Exhibit A: Can’t bill to plan and prepare a motion or pleading, plus bill for the drafting of the document. Seems not grounded in reality to me.

My raise % has historically been good. Company entered into a big lucrative deal in 2021 which brought on more work and with it, promises of more lucrative prospects for everyone.

Come performance review time, I’m getting a rave review but was informed that the increase isn’t as big as prior years because HR is limiting the raises and not giving the department as much discretion as it did in the past with nos.

Tried to ask for more but not getting to the sweet spot.
