Hi Fishes,
I Will be Joining PWC AC B as SA2 on Sept 2,2022. Just want to know about Appraisal cycle. Is it Mid Year or Annual appraisal process. Also, will I be eligible for next appraisal cycle ? Tried asking the same Question to HR, but didn't get a proper response. She just mentioned as per company policy.

The CSR is very tough to make worth it now with the new “enhancements.” I really maximize everything I can and I’m at my wits end in a major city. Some other options to consider:
Chase Ink Preferred is still 3x on all travel and just 95$, still allows you to transfer points. Or you can downgrade to a Freedom or the FU for now, and get a CSP later.
If it’s just you and want Priority Pass. Venture X is a no brainer and easily pays for itself every year. Or the Bilt Palladium once the 2.0 dumpster fire works itself out.

Huge no on cashing out the points. Hyatt alone is a pretty reliable 2 cpp redemption, but obviously that only works if you stay in hotels. Even if you never travel again, CSR often has okay PYB options at 1.25 cpp.
I would probably downgrade to CSP or CF/CFU and then open both a CIP (for bonus + the ability to transfer Chase points if you decide not to hold a CSP/CSR) and another travel card just for the perks, maybe Venture X.
A longer path would be opening the Boundless, which currently has the all time high 5 nights offer, then PC to Ritz.
The question:
- Do I keep my card since, with the credit, the fee covers the benefits I do use
- Use up my points as statement credits and downgrade to CSP or Freedom
Family members also have CSR so considering
becoming an authorized user to access benefits I use like PP
Not brand loyal to an airline so could transfer points to ones I use more often
- another option I’m not thinking of?
