I just want to understand how the recruitment works here in Canada. I applied for quite few openings but nothing is clicked so far, even Though my profile matches quite all criteria. How much a referral can work here, I tried to reach people in LinkedIn but most of the times I won’t get an answer for my ping. I literally feel annoyed and distressed. Can you please pour your ideas how we can actually search for a recruiter in LinkedIn and how to approach and how to atleast get single intervie

So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. They suggested that we put SPHR ( Lapsed). I let it lapse in 2017. What is your opinion? Plus if I were to take another certification - should I take SPHR or SHRM-SCP?

Best way to prepare for SHRM ?

Why do FAANG companies pay above market not just for Eng talent but other non-core functions? Like HR or other functions that are largely similar anywhere else

Hi all!
Would love some insight on how you went from an HR assistant/coordinator to an HR Generalist. I’ve been in the HR world for 8 years, and only in the last 2-3 have I really done real HR work. The first company I was at didn’t have a solid HR team so I don’t really count that. I feel like I’m ready to take on more responsibility and learn more. And of course make more money.

I have looked into getting SHRM certification. But should I go back to school and get my masters in Hr?
