I’m not happy where I’m at, my abilities aren’t being maximized as I’m spread thin, and I know I’m being undervalued. Recently graduated and in property management w/ 3-4 years sales experience. Currently on the hunt for Sales/Account Management roles leaning more towards consumer goods, then tech. Any advice?

So, I’m currently interviewing for new job, and market is not bad, but I’m anxious and I am interviewing for every opportunity that comes my way (director/vp level, tech). Today, September 30 I received an invite for an initial interview for another opportunity. So I applied to this opportunity through networking on August 10 (!). It looks like a red flag for me and I’m thinking thankyounext, but again it’s covid time... Thoughts?

Hoping to get my PHR in the next year or so. Outside of employer reimbursement, are there other opportunities for this to get funded? I know SHRM Foundation offers scholarships for the CP, but I am looking for PHR specific help. Thank you! :)
For those in b2b sales how are your orders placed most? Online, customer service or sales reps?
For those of you who spent the time and money to get the PHR or SHRM certifications, do you feel that it actually strengthened your professional capabilities as on HR professional, or did you just do it to fit into the “HR Professional” crowd?
Need to define diverse talent metrics to create a scorecard. Challenge is that the available data is based on opting in/out of self identification, that data point can change dramatically YOY. Any recommendations on metrics and scorecard?
"Coffee's for closers" is a classic scene. Any other scenes that get you boys pumped up for the day?
How long, on average, did it take you to study before you could pass the PHR/SPHR exam? Did you think it was worth it?
How do I get these car warranty calls to stop? Change my number I've had for 20 years??? What has worked for you? I've added myself to Do Not Call, etc.
Question for you sales and saas guys. I work for a fast growing startup and we are billing around 200 K a month. I am in charge of the sales team and our CFO mandates that we collect ACH payment information on every agreement. The problem with this is we have to reel in micro deposit amounts from customers and it feels like herding cats. I’ve worked for three great tech companies and I’ve never had ACH nor have I ever paid for services with ACH. Is this a totally dated process?
Now that networking events are virtual and limited opportunity for face to face meetings - how are new leads being generated besides website traffic. How do you "network" at virtual meetings and presentations?
Advice on taking and passing the SPHR exam?
Hey guys! Our teammate is going through a pretty tough time, I wasn’t sure if this would be appropriate to post, but seeing as though this is a sales group, and my man Braxton is a sales beast... I thought I could try posting and apologize later. If you can give please do, if you can share please, if you can pray please, please do. We’re so close to getting his expenses covered, and after all he’s done to show up to our team.. I’m trying to show up to him in my fullest capacity. Thank you!!
I’m trying to help people make the most out of every and any interview they are able to schedule right now. Which aspect of the interview process are you seeing fall apart most?
I was laid off from a resource management role, working with employees approaching or on the bench, working with managers to staff projects, and support functions like report creation, scheduling, etc. Roles like this are few and many large consulting firms have frozen internal hiring. Do you think it would be beneficial to get a SHRM cert? Would that help get a "talent related" HR role? Worth the money? I have a background in recruitment as well.
To hr professionals in finance..I’m considering getting an online certificate through Cornell in data/analytics. Worth it or do employers think it’s equivalent to Coursera?
Okay so I recently got into Booth off the waitlist (so so stoked, my first choice) with no scholarship but have accepted an offer to Tuck with a 30k scholarship. Post MBA goals are MBB. Leaning hard on Booth but is there any chance they’d swing a scholarship at this point in the game?
I’m in the initial stages of creating a digital health focused blog to share ideas and cover trends and emerging technologies (computer vision, virtual care delivery, customer experience, etc.) and I would like to collaborate with someone who has an interest in writing and researching these topics as a side project. The idea is to provide a fresh take on how these trends are revolutionizing the industry. Think Robinhood Snacks for healthcare Frequency would be 1 blog / month Accenture
Currently at Big 4 management consulting post-MBA. Have offers with MBB and FAANG (strategy). Similar comp. Which would you take?
BTC, same as the stock market goes, dropped 40% in the covid crash last year in a few days. It is an excellent store of value, like a fireworks factory next to a volcano stores value.
2nd year female associate &I have a new baby. I’m scheduled to go out of town for busy season but my dad is sick and my parents keep my baby. Can I tell them I can’t travel? Or should I find a new job
I am beyond stuck in my first 1.5 years of my career. I was over promised opportunities at my first gig and then Covid hit. Leading me to have no portfolio worthy pieces from this 💩 agency with nothing great in sight. (place hasn’t won a pitch in my entire time here + lost clients) I’m juggling re-vamping my site and a side project to hopefully make my book more robust. With no kind of leadership or mentor, I’m just figuring out how to dig myself out of this hole. Any advice for this chump?
Happy to have gotten into b school, but starting to have cold feet given the covid situation and the fact that we could be virtual this fall and perhaps even longer. Is anyone else feeling this way?
Are cover letters important if they don’t ask for one? There are so many job postings and applicants I can’t tell if they would be beneficial to show effort or just a waste of time to write with how little time I assume people are looking at applications with the mass hiring going on. If I should be writing one, any advice how to format?
Favouritism? I got screwed over, paired with another art director. Same job title, salary, started at the same time. After doing good work together, I won awards individually, turned down a job offer to stay in this company...was let go and it turned out my cd who dealt with my pay etc and decided where briefs went had never raised the job I turned down with management, I was earning less and he had been giving the good opportunities to the other junior ad. Ended in me getting a pay off...
I’m interviewing for a company that is asking me to complete a project as part of the interview process. I want to send them a contract to ensure the work I produce won’t be used by the company (they’ve already agreed to signing something), but since I’ve never drafted anything like this I don’t know where to start. Does anyone know of any good resources/templates for this sort of thing?

Anyone willing to share their experience at broadhead? Considering a position there and would love to hear positives and negatives.
I’m spending some of my Bonvoy points to stay at a luxury hotel for the first time ever. What am I supposed to tip people there? This place even has a butler service - I’m not even sure what they do.
4th year corporate associate here. I’ll be starting an in-house role with a large public tech company in the next few months, but haven’t given notice yet. What sort of things should I be considering to prepare for the transition? Anything to take advantage of while still at the firm? The company is not a firm client, but we (the firm) have worked across from them on a few transactions.
Has anyone tried flexible seating options in their classroom? I'm trying it for next school year, but have my concerns about logistics of set up and storage.
How much better is the WLB for (McK Digital) Experts vs Generalists? I know there may not be a significant/tangible difference but would still request to get people’s thoughts! Also, perspective of ex B4s currently at McK also appreciated. Gives some frame of reference for WLB at B4 vs McK.
What’s the max that someone who is making $2600 a month post tax should spend on rent? Context: sibling is starting out in commission role so this number is the minimum they’d be making, they have emergency fund already, car/insurance paid for by work. They don’t know anyone in the area to live with but studios/1B in decent areas start at $1300
I’m a little over 8 weeks pregnant and I am going to tell my coach and dept head in about 4-5 weeks that I’m due in late January. I’m so beyond nervous for this as I will miss my entire client base’s yearend work. I feel guilty but don’t and I would love to have my clients back when I return from leave, but I’m not sure if that will happen either. Any advice?
Anyone here own a Garmin 6x Pro? Worth it? Have always worn mechanical watches, attempting to embrace the smart watch revolution. I enjoying running, biking, walking, once covid is over winning. Also considered the 945 too.
