Strongly considering a Nomos Orion Neomatik 38, but I’ve heard the longer lugs make the Orions wear a fair bit larger. My daily wear is a Tudor Black Bay 41, so I’m not too worried, but there aren’t a…

Hoping to get my PHR in the next year or so. Outside of employer reimbursement, are there other opportunities for this to get funded? I know SHRM Foundation offers scholarships for the CP, but I am looking for PHR specific help. Thank you! :)
I am currently unemployed but I am very curious about everyone’s company signature having she/her or he/him or they displayed. Are companies forcing people to write the pronouns you need to choose? I honestly never understood why somebody that wasn’t in the LGBTQ community would specify, and I know people are doing it to show support but if I started working again I don’t think I would want to put that in my signature. It seems political. What are your thoughts?
Any H1B success stories here?
My posture is absolute shit. Tried getting a standing desk and it's great when I stand, but on days I want to sit I can't touch the ground in my chair and feel like a child just to be level. Advice?

Have been saving in only roths my entire career (Roth 401k and Roth IRA) and am now approaching my FIRE number in my 40s. What strategies are available to me to start withdrawing earlier than the 59 1/2 required? Any strategies to avoid the penalty?
I need to spend a good 3-4 hours doing some organizational shit today. I have a bunch of new cases and cases with new deadlines, and it’s going to take a bit to figure out how I’m going to manage everything. It’ll make my life easier and less scrambled in the long run... but there’s so much billable work I should be doing. How do you convince yourself to do all the nonbillable stuff that’s necessary for case management when you’re already pressed for time?
Hi guys! I work at PwC within the data transformation and analytics group. I got an RFE related to specialty occupation for my Visa. Do you recommend going for premium processing?
Posted this in firm bowl, but belongs here as well. The big 4 shouldn’t open their physical firm offices. Case positivity in the Midwest is climbing exponentially, nearly 1000 Americans are dying per day, we are entering the “darkest 6-12 weeks of the pandemic”, traveling to see family for the holidays in-state is being advised against. Tell me again how and why we should even remotely consider going to client sites or into offices without proper enforced social distancing when we can WFH. Why?!
I’ve been exhausted because I feel like whatever I do I have not been saving as much as my other friends have been (saved up to $15k since start of my career, saved at least 40% every month from my salary). My job transition is really now focused on getting any job that can pay me the highest. And while I’m devastated all of my friends are going to b schools or phds without loans or are landlords already. What are the highest paying jobs right now for a client services person to transition into?
What’s everyone doing with your Amex membership rewards fee? Cancel the program and find a way to use those points or pay the fee for the year?
Potential transfer from PwC to Deloitte (Tax). Anyone out there who did the same? Thoughts? Is the hiring process similar (I.e - no drug screening, etc.)?
Thoughts on a technical consultant role at Qualtrics? Had a phone and technical interview today. Company seems good but not a lot of salary data on Glassdoor for the Seattle office.
Does the Senior Associate to Consultant move count as a promotion or just a progression?
Got GSAP.. but now I am nervous about getting accepted to a top MBA program. Haven’t taken the GSAT yet (in process) but typically am not a strong test taker. Curious what sort of GSAT scores got people in to what schools?
Anyone ever get mildly “catfished” by a job description? And it turns out the role itself is similar but not quite as grand as the details before.
Can you share your agency’s maternity leave policy? Do you have a paternity policy as well?
What is everyone seeing in terms of remote/flex work vs coming back to the office? I hear some of the majors are making flex permanent while others are 100% in the office.
Honest question for my desi 🐠. How many of you have a really good relationship with your MIL (specifically the women with their MIL). I am wondering if my wife and mother have a problem that is common to many or are they a minority.
Thoughts on investing into rental properties vs putting money into market? Had 2 HUD rented properties and currently selling them and unsure whether to invest in purchasing another one or just use that money to buy stocks. I’m worried that low income renters will struggle with paying rent due to losing jobs because of COVID. Thoughts?
Sick and tired of feeling like I don't belong cause Accenture doesn't fit in its own category. There's MBB and the Big Four, where do I belong?
