I’m curious if anyone knows of any NY or NYC laws around requirements for an employer to employ a certain percentage of underrepresented minority groups? Would greatly appreciate any guidance here!

Hi, I came across an HR role for a company that offers consulting services for other employers. Has anyone work for one? My understanding is that it’s project base. Can anyone here share their experience in a similar role? What do you think?

Has anyone here had to give a 90 day plan in an interview? I’m on round 5 now for a field role, and I was informed this will be what the final interview consists of. Panel of 5-6 supposedly. Any tips or advice on what/how to present? How to prepare? Is it kind of like a quarterly business review sort of thing?

Conflict of interest.
Can a company find out if you start to work for another company? Also, is it really a conflict of interest if you work for both companies in the same position, but the companies are in a different field (e.g. pharmaceutical and social media)?

Hi, where or what types of companies should sophomores & juniors apply for next summer (2022) to recruit for IB the following summer (2023)? This summer BBs wrapped up SA IB recruitment, EBs even earlier, and a fair amount of my friends missed out big time.

Also, if a sophomore or junior doesn’t get a finance-related summer internship (I.e tech) and aims for an IB SA or FT position, is it harder to break in?

I recently started at HubSpot as an account executive covering SMB. I’m finishing up training and a Salesforce recruiter reached about a job opening doing pretty much the same thing. Salesforce was near the top of my list of prospective companies. Curious if anyone has experience working there and would recommend it over HubSpot?

Currently a first year staff in Risk Advisory in a Mid-Tier Firm hoping to move to Big 4 for either Risk or Cyber. When would be the most appropriate time to make the change? I heard that Senior Staff in mid-tier would most likely be hired as an “Experienced Hire” in Big 4. I am a personal injury attorney making 79k with ability to keep 40% of anything I settle, bonuses for originating work for the firm. I am 1.5 years into practicing as a Plaintiffs PI attorney - I have a review coming up - suggestions on what I should ask for as a raise. I’ve settled a couple cases and working on a third settlement. I’m new to the practice area but cannot get a read on whether a raise is coming at review - nothing but positive feedback from both partners I work with, but doesn’t
