Has anyone started in-house and made the transition to a firm? I started in-house right out of law school, but I’m looking to make a move at some point. The perks of in-house are great, but I have a lack of motivation most days and would like to get more exposure by working at a firm. Any advice or success stories would be appreciated.

When people actually get back to work the traffic is going to be like LA and I’m curious where all of these people are going to work when their CA jobs tell them they need to be back in the office.
Should I quit and then job search if I won’t have time to search if I stay? Will that hurt my chances of getting a job? I have received an offer but it is not ideal and not where I want to be.
