How do I stay relevant in the Salesforce ecosystem?
I am 24 year old Salesforce Developer with 1.5 Years of Experience. Coming back to Salesforce, I have worked on Salesforce Implementation of Small to Mid Level Businesses which required me to have an all-around knowledge of Salesforce(Admin + Development) on both Sales and Service Cloud. But I wish to specialize in one Salesforce Skill/Path and become an absolute master of it (CPQ, Vlocity, Pardot or tablu,Mulesoft). What path should I choose?

Since starting in January I have:

Spilled water on my laptop and backed into a parked car less than an hour apart.

Got a ticket for a rolling stop vs. full stop.

Can I start January over?

Suggestions on how to improve at work? I feel like everyone knows more than me and feeling like I’ve been left behind. Where did all of this knowledge come from??

Does anyone have any insight into partners retiring early? I am at a point where I need to consider leaving if I am not aiming for partner. I don’t see myself working past my 40s. My partner and I are not big spenders and anticipate have enough to retire comfortably in 40s (obviously a lot can change). I have been assured I will become SM in next year (currently 31 years old).

I have an interview coming up for an AE role at a cyber security company, as part of this I need to give a presentation on companies I would target and why.
Any advice on trends in cyber security at the moment or industries that are currently vulnerable and would be a good to target?

Questions about job hopping-
My average tenure at a company is ~1.5 years (with ~11 YOE), but each jump I've made has yielded progressive/tangible career growth.

I'm concerned after my most recent jump (went from a product director to a head of product position at a different, smaller company after only a year) that I've kind of poisoned future career prospects at larger companies.

Any insights on whether this type of job hopping is a complete deal breaker for potential HMs?

Looking for a home office chair…I need something really ergonomic/comfortable but given the visibility of the office in the house the wife wants something stylish. She keeps calling all my ideas ‘gamer chairs’ even though they’re definitely not. Anyone have any chairs they really like that may be worth looking at? I feel like I’ve looked everywhere (Steelcase, Herman Miller, humanscale, Haworth, xchair, etc).

I’m trying to get all my ducks in a row for when I quit here at the end of next month… I am taking a break to figure out what I want to do, so I will be unemployed for a time. Do I have to notify the ARDC of this change (IL licensed)? Do I have to immediately switch to inactive status or can I stay active in case I decide to keep practicing law just a few months later? I am looking to enter big law. I had a clerkship on a state Business Calendar and am a current first year litigation associate where I have prepared for a trial, taken and defended depositions, and have extensive motion writing practice in tech, business, and employment cases. Is it a waste of time to try and make a move to big law with such few years of experience?

Unfortunately was dragged into an audit despite the fact I don’t work in audit. Why does audit RM say yeah your hours will be 50 hours/week when you’ll have to work way more to do the audit. Seems very dumb - if you have work do it, if not don’t work…
