2 years in Facilities Engineering out of college with a B.E. Marine Engineering, minor in law. I've got my EIT too. I'd like to advance my career-not sure in what specific direction. Looking to obtain my P.E. and maybe get Masters degree.

Company offers $5.8k for tuition reimbursement annually. Which online graduate programs would you recommend? (MBA, Engineering Management...?)

Anecdotally I'd like to know of what P.E. license / Masters you chose to go for and why? How has this affected you?

I have looked into PE. But in my line of work, I won’t be able to monetize the certification. If you decide to get a PE and actually monetize it, it would limit your job choices. And, you will have to maintain that license even if you don’t use it. Only advice I can give is network with other PE and get their views/opinions.

Not that this will be helpful for you, but I’m not in the field to get my PE. My new company offers full tuition coverage but when I applied to the OCSMS program at Georgia Tech while at my old company they gave me $5k/yr, similar to you (their program is about $4500/yr).

It’s in CS so entirely different than my undergrad but my new job has been extremely positive towards my pursuing it as it would help round out my systems engineering role

Honestly it depends. Are you interested in going into forensic work or into consulting work as an ME? This would mean working for a consulting firm which would mean moving up the ladder would require you to have a PE. Check this company exponent.

Hi, I was curious if anyone had any jobs or companies that had a position with a mix of consulting/healthcare/pharmaceutical. I currently work in clinical operations and research, and would love to jump or learn into a tech side company with pharmaceutical exposure. Not sure if these are out there but figured I’d see!

Internship Program Help: Hi Everyone! I’ve never worked for a company with any type of internship program at all, let alone a really successful one. Also don’t want to bite off more than I can chew, but would love to hear some tips or even better, maybe have a quick chat if willing?

I can really use some direction. My background, I've worked 2 years in strategy and am currently coming off an exhausting year 2 in investment banking. I didn't particularly enjoy either role and am not interested in moving over to the buy-side or some monotonous FP&A role. Everybody says there's exit-ops aplenty, but I find myself with less options and even more picky than I did as an ambitious T2 undergrad student. Where do I go from here?

Hi sales engineers, I’m currently a cloud security engineer with a cybersecurity background. I am pretty recent graduate and am passionate about sales engineering but have struggled to get my foot in the door in this field. Seems like every job out there is like 5+ years experience. Any advice for how to get in this field with little experience?

Change my mind: the talk around things shifting to a 'new normal' is overblown. Society's collective conscience is too short-term to enact massive changes to things we are comfortable (e.g., global warming). Yes, it will take awhile for offices to open back up, flights to be full, etc., but within 1-2 years things willbe mostly back to what they are like now and this massive structural shift will have never materialized.
