What do you do ? 180k at 26 appears exceptional
Sounds like a really solid opportunity. I’d jump all over it if you are interested
I’m going to take it, and do a contracting gig on the side 😁😁😁
Take it!
180 is some nice cheddar
Depends...Where are you now? Need more info
Seems exceptional at 26 ... I would take it .. keep it open when u leave IBM.. say you want to try something different and will come back if you don’t like it.😁
Currently at IBM in their enterprise applications division. Basically no bonus, but a lot of opportunity to move to other consulting partner (Deloitte, pwc, KPMG, etc.) where in the long run Comp and status could be higher.
Would you be open to chat and possibly a referral to your division at ibm?
Hard to say. What level are you currently?
How close are you to promo and what’s the next level comp look like?
Not close. Just got promoted in April. Looking at another 2-3 years before I see another possible promo to senior managing consultant.
Take it. You can always come back to consulting later if you want more money or if you miss it.
I'd jump, climb, come back.
What is your motivation for leaving? Do you like consulting? What is the industry role?
Take it for this reason alone.
If you don’t take it can you refer me? Looking for a role like this
Go for it!!
i think this is a really nice exit opp at your level. you will grow in your new role and that will lead to more comp down the line. and if you want to come back to consulting, you will come in at a higher level with more comp.
