I have e-mail archive from 1y ago of my reach-out to 65 VCs in London: we had video calls, they might remember me still, who knows.
I want to send a reply/forward message to the same e-mail thread from abc@gmail.com, saying that I am looking for roles within their VC firm. Is that a good idea?
Or shall I just start new email thread and mention how I know them?

You could be an Expert Marketing Consultant at one of the consulting firms. They mostly recruit from agency background.
If you're going to become a generalist, you'll start from the bottom.
If you're seeking to join as a specialist, probably equivalent level, but in the specialty track.
Where are you seeing Senior Manager level roles at a top tier strategy firm that you'd qualify for? That feels like a big jump
Others can correct me but you'll likely start entry level. Consulting is quite different from agency life and requires a different set of skills. If you have an advanced degree some firms may consider you for a rung or two higher than entry level, but in no way will you start managing people.
