I mean technically yes but I’m a nervous traveler and all it would take is a 30 min delay to make that layover very panicky. Not worth it imo but you may have a higher risk tolerance than me
This is a good point. Weather at this time of the year in Houston is usually perfectly fine for flights, but who knows about where OP is coming from or where Southwest’s plane is coming from.
Also there are no lounges at HOU, just saying

Yes, it's a tiny airport. You even have time to get a margarita at Pappasito's.
