PMP and CSM are useless
Way under paid my friend. Are you at KPMG?
That sounds about right for KPMG from where I was there a few years back in the DC area. At the time the SA band topped out around 105
Depends on where you got the MBA
I hate to say this but your emphasis on certifications puts you in a lower tier of tech or MC. Looks like you have exceeded the median CSM salary, so that's good.
CSM is just how to run agile. Outside of fed and old school IT orgs no one cares about PMP or CSM
4th year at firm or 4th year as a Senior? First one isn’t too bad, but if the latter and you’re only at 95, that’s a major Wtf....
Federal?
4 years experience or four years of SA?
@P1- not federal
@P2- 4 years as SA.
That’s consultant salary at D...
1. Depends where you got the MBA, as said above.
A first year SA at PwC without MBA starts at $95k in DC (with expected adjustments this year for COLA and Cohorts). An SA1 with an MBA (target) starts at $135k
I’d say that’s in line with the median for big 4 if you have 4-6 years of total work experience. Big assumption is you clearly didn’t go to a top MBA program or you’d be easily at $120+ today.
@DD1 my experience is the polar opposite. My PMP and CSM have opened a lot of doors. I have gotten roles and increased comp because of those certifications.
What is CSM?
Certified Scrum Master. It reinforces to others that you understand the technical side of implementation
@DD1 my life experience disproves your statement
@SC1 okay
